Interested in purchasing a rain barrel for your home this spring?

The City of Melrose is again partnering with The Great American Rain Barrel Company (TGARB) to offer a 2024 rain barrel sale. Sales are open now until June 2nd at 12:00 midnight.

Please visit https://www.greatamericanrainbarrel.com/community and search for 'Melrose'. All orders and payments must be submitted directly to TGARB. Please email sales@tgarb.com with any questions regarding the sale.

Pick-up of pre-ordered rain barrels is scheduled for June 15th at the DPW City Yard from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Why purchase a rain barrel? "Rain Barrels are the first step in helping towns to manage water supplies, keeping a lid on rising water costs, and control costly storm water runoff. The Melrose DPW is encouraging residents to purchase rain barrel for their home, to harvest their own water during periods of drought, to slow nitrogen pollution and to save money on their water bill."
