Card Payments

Bill, Tax, and Fee payments all in one spot at!

DPW now accepts credit/debit card payments to pay for these services:

  • Metal/White goods (curbside pickup only)

  • Earth Machine compost bins (please call ahead of arrival so that the bin can be ready for collection)

  • Fire extinguisher/propane tank recycling

  • Tire recycling

  • Electronics recycling (curbside pickup and city yard drop off)

  • Fluorescent bulb recycling

Steps for Curbside Mattress Pickup:

For curbside mattress pick up: Curbside mattress collection must be scheduled directly through Tough Stuff Recycling by visiting

For electronics, bulbs, tire, and fire extinguisher/propane tank drop-off:

First, pay ahead online prior to arrival at the city yard. Once you have successfully paid for your items, you may visit the City Yard office and show your digital or printed receipt to the resident services representative. Then, drop off your item in the appropriate area in the City Yard. Please note that mattress drop off at the city yard are only accepted on Saturdays with a copy of a work order/receipt. 

For curbside electronics or metal/white goods collection:

If your item requires curbside pickup with a sticker (TVs/metal/white goods), you must call the City Yard office after pre-payment at 781-665-0142 to request pickup services with the resident services representative. If you choose to pay online, no sticker is needed for collection. Payments received after 3:00 PM on the Monday prior to Tuesday’s collection will be deferred to the collection day of the following week. Items must be placed out no later than 7:00 AM on the date of collection.

Curbside holiday information:

Should a holiday fall on a Monday, online payments must be made no later than 3:00 PM on the Friday before to be scheduled for the following Tuesday collection. Any payment received after this time will be deferred to the next collection day. Should a holiday fall on a Tuesday, metal collection will be delayed until the following day. Online payments received must be made no later than 3:00 PM on the Monday before the holiday. Any payment received after this time will be deferred to the next collection day and will not be processed or scheduled for that week's collection. A holiday on any other day does not affect metal/white goods collection.
