Tailings

Massachusetts General Law Chapter 200A, Section 9A provides Municipal Treasurers a procedure for disposing of funds held by the City which are deemed abandoned. This process is known as "tailings".

The "Notice Of Names Of Persons Appearing To Be Owners Of Unclaimed Property" is found below. This notice was posted on March 16, 2023.

To claim funds, please contact the Collector/Treasurer's Office. You will need to submit a Request to Claim Funds form, and provide a photo ID. Once all necessary documentation is submitted, The Treasurer will review the claim and, if deemed valid, will re-issue a check.
