Events of note:
- Tonight, the City Council’s FY24 Budget Hearings will continue in the chamber. On the docket tonight are budgets for Recreation, the Mt. Hood Enterprise Fund, and Pine Banks. Thursday, Budget Hearings continue with Assessors and Department of Public Works. To view all City of Melrse FY24 budget documents, visit the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget landing page.
- Friday, join the MHRC, Mayor Paul Brodeur, local speakers, youth artists, and elected officials at the Beebe Estate at 5 p.m. to CelebrateMelrose Pride with music from Girl Skull and MC Samantha Em.
- On Saturday, many community events are taking place across Melrose including:
- Scrap metal collection and rain barrel pickup for pre-ordered barrels by the Department of Public Works at the Melrose City Yard between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.
- The City’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Showcase Pop-Up Event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Melrose High School parking lot located at 360 Lynn Fells Parkway.
- A Melrose community storytelling event at Temple Beth Shalom from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The evening’s theme will be “Taking Up Space: Elevating Lived Experience with Disability.”
