Zoning Board of Appeals Remote Hearings

The Zoning Board of Appeals will be holding public hearings virtually. Meeting access information can be found at the following link as soon as it is available: www.cityofmelrose.org/remote-meetings

Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023, this meeting of the Melrose Zoning Board of Appeals will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend this meeting can be found on the City of Melrose’s website, at www.cityofmelrose.org/remote-meetings. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, or in the event that we are unable to do so, we will post on the mmtv3.org website an audio or video recording, transcript, or other comprehensive record of proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting. 

The application materials for all of the cases that will be heard are available on the Board of Appeals website or by clicking here. Interested persons may provide comments to the Board during the hearing or by submitting comments by email to appeals@cityofmelrose.org by mail to the Office of Planning and Community Development, City Hall, 2nd floor, 562 Main Street, Melrose, MA or by voicemail at 781-979-4196 with your name, address, and comment (deadline 5 p.m. the night of the meeting) to be read by the Clerk during the public comment portion of the meeting.
