It’s a Good Week for:
- Amendments: During this Thursday's Liquor Licensing Commission meeting, Mayor Brodeur will be proposing amendments to the Melrose Liquor Licensing Commission Rules and Regulations to allow for the issuance of Farmer Series’ Pouring Permits in the City of Melrose.
- Holiday Shopping: The City of Melrose has launched a downtown holiday Pop-Up shopping experience for the Melrose community. Ready to learn more? Keep an eye out for the full City News story tonight at 6 p.m.
- Revitalizing Downtown: Last week, the Office of Planning and Community Development announced the construction for the redevelopment of the 12-16 Essex Street building across from City Hall will soon be underway. Wakefield Associates, Inc., headed by Dana Lopez, a local and experienced builder, will begin the demolition of the building today, Monday, November 13. - Proclamations of Love Kindness: During tonight’s City Council meeting, Mayor Brodeur hopes to proclaim November 20, 2023, Melrose Random Acts of Kindness Day.
- Interviews: The final four finalists being considered for the open Superintendent of Melrose Public Schools position will participate in a final round of interviews this week and next week.
