The Week Ahead: Public Meetings & Events Happening in Melrose

Person speaking to crowd outdoors on a sunny day.

In Melrose, public meetings and events open to all residents take place every week. All posted agendas can be accessed via this link, http://melrosecityma.iqm2.com/citizens/default.aspx, and public meeting video recordings can be accessed here https://vimeo.com/mmtv3/ (Thanks, MMTV!).

Events of note:

  • Today, the City’s Juneteenth proclamation will be available at the Melrose Public Library after 1 p.m. for residents to sign as a way of joining the City’s aspiration of being, “One Community, Open to All,” and honoring the history and significance of Juneteenth as well as the City’s Black community. The proclamation will be available to sign until July 7.
  • Tonight, the City Council’s FY24 Budget Hearings will continue in the chamber. On the docket tonight are the Water & Sewer Rates. To view all City of Melrose FY24 budget documents, visit the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget landing page.
