The Week Ahead: Public Meetings & Events Happening in Melrose

In Melrose, public meetings and events open to all residents take place every week. All posted agendas can be accessed via this link, http://melrosecityma.iqm2.com/citizens/default.aspx, and public meeting video recordings can be accessed here https://vimeo.com/mmtv3/ (Thanks, MMTV!).

Two events of note:

  • This Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Driscoll Learning Commons, join the Melrose Public Safety Buildings Committee (MPSBC) and Mayor Paul Brodeur for their lead-off Public Learning Session—the first in a series of community discussions intended to help the City and its residents better understand the needs facing the community's public safety buildings and inform the public on the committee's recommended solution.
  • After the Public Learning Session, community members can head to Memorial Hall for the annual Melrose Arts Festival taking place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 30. More than 40 artists will display their works of fine arts and fine crafts.
