Reminder: Municipal Buildings Will be Closed Tomorrow, November 10, in Observance of Veterans' Day
In observance of Veterans’ Day, all Melrose municipal buildings, apart from the Melrose Public Library and the City's public safety buildings, will be closed on Friday, November 10. The Melrose Public Library will observe Veterans' Day on the the holiday itself, and as a result, will be closed on Saturday, November 11.
The City’s trash and recycling schedule for the week of November 6 through November 11 will not be affected by the holiday (Friday’s collection will take place on November 10, not November 11 as previously scheduled).
This Veterans’ Day, the City of Melrose will honor and thank all active duty and deceased veterans who have sacrificed and defended the country’s freedoms and their families by hosting a series of Veterans’ Day events, including the City’s annual Veterans’ Day Ceremonies—a Salute to Veterans—on Saturday, November 11.
