REMINDER: Detour for Lynn Fells Parkway Bridge Replacement begins 8PM TONIGHT

Work to replace the Lynn Fells Parkway MBTA bridge begins tonight, Friday, October 22 at 8:00 PM and will continue through 5:00 AM on Monday, October 25.

Lynn Fells Parkway will be closed to all vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic during work hours. A signed detour route will be in place and drivers are encouraged to avoid the area or seek alternate routes to avoid delays.

Commuter Rail will be replaced by busses on Saturday and Sunday. Visit the MBTA alerts page for up-to-date scheduling information. 

The Cedar Park Train Station parking lot will have reduced capacity through Wednesday, October 27. Commuters are advised to seek alternative parking during that time period.

The DPW City Yard will remain open and accessible via Tremont Street. However, the Household Hazardous Waste Collection event scheduled for Saturday, October 23 will be held at Melrose High School, with access ONLY from Melrose Street. The event will not be accessible from Lynn Fells Parkway. For GPS navigation to reach the site, residents should use this address: 44 Melrose Street, Melrose, MA 02176.
