Happening Overnight Tonight: Melrose DPW Will Remove Excess Snow From Crosswalks & Parking Lots

During the City’s last storm update on Sunday evening, we let community members know they could expect the the Department of Public Works (DPW) to remove excess snow from crosswalks and select parking lots, including school parking lots, overnight at some point during the week of January 30 through February 5.

This work will begin tonight at 11:00 p.m and will continue overnight. If you live near an area where large-scale snow removal is taking place, you may hear noises from the heavy machinery used to clear the snow (and not a result of an emergency situation).
