Good Evening, Melrose!
This past Wednesday, volunteers from across Melrose including our City staff, boards and commission members, and Mayor Jen began their morning by reading to children in our Melrose Public Schools system as part of yet another wildly successful Community Reading Day organized by The Bridge: A School/Community Partnership.

Accepting a $66,000 Grant for MPD’s Crisis & Mental Health Training: The City of Melrose has been awarded a $66,000 grant to fund the cost of crisis intervention and mental health first aid training for the Melrose Police Department (MPD) from the Department of Mental Health.
