Rep. Brodeur to Host Opioid Forum on January 23

On Wednesday, January 23rd from 7PM-8:15PM Representative Brodeur will be hosting an Opioid Forum at the Milano Family Senior Center.  The guest speakers will include State Representative Denise Garlick of Needham, House Chair to the Committee on Mental Health, Substance Use, and Recovery; and Eileen McAnneny, President to the Massachusetts Taxpayer’s Foundation.  Ms. McAnneny will share the findings of a recent report published by her organization, The Mass Taxpayers Foundation, which details the significant impact the opioid epidemic has had on businesses, and Representative Garlick will detail the provisions of the 2018 opioid law – which has been lauded as a national model for other state legislatures. 
 
Representative Brodeur will be facilitating the discussion and attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions, and share comments.
