Nightingale Vocal Ensemble to Perform on May 18

The Nightingale Vocal Ensemble will perform their premier concert at the First Baptist Church, 561 Main Street, Melrose, on Saturday, May 18th at 2:00 p.m. Nightingale is a Boston based vocal ensemble focused on innovative programming, original and experimental compositions, and choral chamber works. The leader of the group is Kelvyn Koning, Music Director at First Baptist Church. All of the performers are either students or graduates of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music. Tickets may be purchased at Miter Biter Frame Co., 479 Main Street, Melrose; the First Baptist Church, 781-665-4470; or at eventbrite.com. Ticket prices are as follows: students and seniors $5, $7 at the door and adults $10, 12 at the door. The church is handicapped accessible.
