Kristen St. George Appointed Principal of Lincoln Elementary School

Superintendent Cyndy Taymore is pleased to announce that Kristen St. George has been appointed principal of the Lincoln Elementary School.

She officially started her new role on July 1.

St. George formerly served, from 2016 to 2018, as the interim principal of the Hanscom Primary School, which is located on the military base in Lincoln and serves families from across the country​. There she oversaw the development of a safe, supportive and nurturing school environment​ for her students while providing them with a high quality education based on the Massachusetts frameworks.

She previously led the Belmont Middle School as principal, from 2010 to 2016, the East Middle School in Braintree as principal, from 2006 to 2010 and the John F. Kennedy Middle School in Natick, first as assistant principal and then as principal, from 1998 to 2006.

"Throughout her experience at Lincoln, Braintree, Belmont and Natick schools, Ms. St. George has implemented clear and consistent strategies that are in line with 21st century learning expectations," Superintendent Taymore said. "She has a proven track record of success at developing positive relationships with students, faculty and staff, and I look forward to the leadership she'll provide to the Lincoln School community."

St. George holds bachelor's degrees in elementary education and psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a master's degree in educational leadership and management from Fitchburg State College.
