The Melrose UU Church is hosting “Green New Deal: Bringing Climate Justice Home,” with special guests from 350 Massachusetts for a Better Future and the Sunrise Movement. This all-ages, FREE event, featuring discussion, storytelling and song, will explore the impact of climate change in Melrose and beyond, and discuss how a “Green New Deal” could help solve our current climate crisis. 350 Massachusetts for a Better Future is a statewide organization working in cities and towns to promote 100% renewable energy, building a Green New Deal in Massachusetts, and as advocates on Beacon Hill for equity and justice in climate policy.

The Sunrise Movement is a national organization building an army of young people to make climate change an urgent priority across America.
