Yale University's SOBs, Blue of a Kind, & MHS Choir to Perform "Coming Together" Concert

The Melrose community is invited to "Coming Together", a multi-generational a capella concert featuring the Melrose High School Choir, Blue of a Kind, and Yale University’s Society of Orpheus & Bacchus (Yale SOBs) on Saturday, October 21, at 7:30 p.m., at the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church.

Blue of a Kind is a local a cappella choir that has performed in the community for nearly 20 years and the Yale SOBs is the second longest-running collegiate a cappella group in the nation.

Kimberly Piper, Melrose High School Choral Director for grades 6-12, said, the concert will focus on the lifelong benefits of singing through community building.

“Now more than ever, creating music and the benefits of singing can serve as a catalyst for community engagement and connection through song,” said Piper.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. on the night of the concert. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by visiting https://yalesobs.ticketbud.com/boakmelrose?fbclid=IwAR3SC2UBhxJUX68DmCAxZ8nQwLmdVhPlAKF-tQAVrFa9U_SgWIwLR0cN3c0
