What to Know Ahead of the Cemetery Cleanup Scheduled to Begin November 1

The Wyoming Cemetery will begin its annual fall cleanup on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Family members who would like to save personal and/or seasonal decorations located at their loved ones' grave site should remove them on or before November 1. Any items that remain after November 1 will be discarded.

Questions can be directed to Wyoming Cemetery staff anytime during office hours—Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.—by dialing 781-665-0405.

The mission of the Wyoming Cemetery is to serve the citizens of Melrose by meeting their final needs with compassion and dignity. The staff of Wyoming Cemetery will deliver services fairly and impartially, will listen to requests and questions in a manner reflecting understanding and comfort, and will provide clear, easily understood explanations of eligibility. They will record and provide accurate grave site locator information and pleasingly maintain the Cemetery grounds with a trained and knowledgeable staff.
