Events of note:
- Tonight, the Appropriations and Oversight Committee will meet to review the final report of the Melrose Public Safety Building Committee (PSBC). Find more information here.
- Wednesday, join Melrose and Wakefield Alliance Against Violence at the Beebe Library at 9 a.m. for a free, one-hour community workshop on how to recognize the warning signs of DV and tips on how you can help someone you think may be suffering.
- Thursday, Melrose Health and Human Services and Health and Wellness Coalition will be hosting a table at the Melrose Farmer's Market from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Save the date:
Melrose Police Department’s National Night Out event will take place on Tuesday, August 1, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cabbage Patch field at Melrose High School. The National Night Out is a family-friendly event to strengthen relationships between police and the communities they serve. More information about this year’s NNO will be shared with the community as the date nears.
