Events of note include:

  • This is the last week that curbside yard waste collection will take place in the year 2022. Please note, community members can drop off yard waste at the Melrose City Yard all year-round (during City Yard hours only).
  • Tuesday, November 29, the City of Melrose and Town of Wakefield are co-hosting a 12+ COVID Booster Clinic from 9 a.m. — 2 p.m. at the Wakefield Health and Human Services Department.
  • Friday, December 2 through Sunday, December 4, St. Mary’s School is hosting its annual 8th Grade Christmas Tree Sale.
  • Friday, December 2, and Saturday, December 3, the Melrose High School (MHS) Marching Band will host its annual Christmas Tree Sale in the MHS parking lot on Friday.
  • Friday, December 2, and Saturday, December 3, the Melrose Chamber of Commerce is welcoming back Home for the Holidays, a citywide holiday open house that ushers in the holiday season in our community over two days.

Home for the Holidays, by the Melrose Chamber of Commerce
