Over the next several months, the Melrose School Committee and Melrose Public Schools leadership will host a series of FY25 Budget Hearings. The hearing schedule, linked here, can be printed out or saved to your phone or computer. Plus, we will help you stay informed of the budget process through The Week Ahead.
It’s a Good Week for...
- An MPS Budget Update: This coming Monday, Melrose Public Schools (MPS) leadership will appear before the City Council to provide an update on the status of the MPS Fiscal Year 2024 Budget. Learn more by reviewing the agenda packet.
- Progress Toward a Brewery: This coming Monday, the Melrose Liquor Licensing Commission (LLC) is hosting a Public Hearing on a Farmer’s Brewery License application for Three4 Craft Liquids LLC. You can attend the meeting in person or email your thoughts to the LLC at liquor@cityofmelrose.org. To learn more, click here.
- The Melrose Fire Department, which gained a new teammate this past week: Firefighter Henry Huang. Before graduating from the MA Fire Academy this past Monday, Huang responded to emergencies, hazards, and disasters alongside public safety partners as a paramedic.
