Water Main Work Will Affect West Wyoming Traffic Starting December 5

Water main upgrades will take place on West Wyoming Avenue at the intersection of Florence Street, starting on Wednesday and running through the rest of this week. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, with detours routing traffic onto Adams, Russell, and Trenton streets.
The purpose of the work is to connect the new water system recently installed within the Florence Street neighborhood into the transmission main on West Wyoming Avenue. This will allow the new system to achieve improved quality and flow capacity.
