TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Main Street Will be Closed During Trick-or-Treat at Melrose Businesses Event
The street closure is intended to ensure the safety of all participating in the annual Trick or Treating at Melrose Businsses event.

The Melrose Chamber of Commerce's annual Trick or Treat at Melrose Businesses in downtown Melrose will be held on Tuesday, October 31, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., rain or shine. During the event, local businesses will hand out candy to young trick-or-treaters (Grade 3 students and younger).
To ensure the safety of all participating in the event, Main Street will be closed from Upham to Grove Street from 3 p.m. and until 5 p.m., and Essex Street from Main to Cerretani Way. As a result, bus routes will be slightly altered. Drivers are encouraged to avoid this area and be especially cautious when traveling near downtown.
