School Opening Delayed on February 28

Due to the expected snow tonight, the Melrose Public Schools will have a delayed opening on Thursday, February 28. 

At the high school and middle school, classes will start at 10:15.

The elementary schools will start at 10:03.

There will be no before school or breakfast program.

At the Franklin School (including Kindergarten classes) there will be no school for the 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. classes. Classes normally starting at 8:30 a.m. will start at 10:30 a.m., and all classes will end at the regular times. There will be no before school program.

All other City of Melrose facilities, including City Hall and the Melrose Public Library, will open at the usual scheduled time.

Please be considerate of your neighbors and shovel your walk in the morning, and please drive safely throughout the day.
