The grand Gala will take place on Saturday, October 14.
The Roaring 20s Gala: Restoring Memorial Hall

With just three weeks until the Roaring 20s Gala to raise funds for the interior restorations of the community's beloved Memorial Hall, the Friends of Melrose Memorial Hall (FOMMH) Gala Committee is busily finalizing the details to make the evening of the Gala, Saturday October 14, a night to remember; one full of live music and entertainment, dancing, tapas and sweets, classic cocktails, and more.

Get Your Gala Tickets:

Gala ticket sales are an essential part of restoring the historic building, with proceeds offsetting the costs of running an event and contributing to the restoration coffers targeting the Memorial Hall’s GAR Room. If you’ve gone ahead and purchased your tickets, thank you, if not, you can still buy your tickets online at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/6037113, or in person by cash or check (but without the online fees) at Miter Biter Framing.

Sponsor the Restoration:

In addition to ticket sales, FOMMH is thankful for the incredible community sponsors (all of whom will be recognized at the big event) who have provided their support. Without their generosity, FOMMH would never be able to pull off an event this grand. For more information on sponsorship, please reach out to memorialhallgala@gmail.com.

Permanent Recognition Program:

For Individuals and families in Melrose who would like to do more to support the efforts to restore the GAR Room, FOMMH has created a Permanent Recognition Program that extends beyond the one-night-only efforts of the October 14 Gala (the program will run through early 2024).

There are three tiers of support:

  • General Ulysses S. Grant, USA sponsor ($2500-5000);

  • Admiral Forrest P. Sherman, USN sponsor ($5000-$10,000); and

  • The John C.F. Slayton sponsor ($10,000 and above).

Those participating in the program will be permanently recognized on a plaque displayed in Memorial Hall, and their generous donation will go directly towards priority improvements in the hall. To learn more about the Permanent Recognition Program, email memorialhallgala@gmail.com.

This Melrose landmark has provided so much to our great city. Let’s give back with gratitude to ensure it remains a vital arts and entertainment center for future generations to come.
