Preliminary Mayoral Election in Melrose TODAY!

In-person voting for the preliminary election for Mayor of Melrose will be held TODAY, Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Polls are open from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM at the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School gym complex (entrance at 90 Melrose Street). During the election, the parking lot by the Middle School gymnasium will be reserved for those who are there to vote, and police offers will be present to help direct traffic.

Voters who have requested a mail-in ballot may return it in the secure ballot drop box behind City Hall (located in the alley between City Hall and the Post Office). Ballots must be received by the close of polls (8:00 PM) on Election Day in order to be counted.
