MWRA Water Valve Work May Discolor Water in Melrose

Please be advised that the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority (MWRA) will be conducting valve repairs to their system along the Melrose and Stoneham border near Ravine Road. Work is scheduled to start on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. In order to move forward with these repairs, segments of the MWRA transmission mains that provide the City of Melrose with its water will be reconfigured.

This may result in slight discoloration of the water within the Melrose system.
