Monday Update for March 2, 2020

Here's what's coming up this week, inside and outside of City Hall.

VOTE!! Election Day is Tuesday, March 3. Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. across the city. Remember to vote in both the presidential primary and state representative general election. There are two separate ballots. For information on your polling place and a sample ballot, check the state's Voter Resources Page.

Superintendent Search: The Superintendent Search Screening Committee will meet at 5 p.m. on March 2, 3, 4, and 5 in the Superintendent's Conference Room at Melrose High School. These meeting will go into executive session immediately after opening and will not reconvene in open session.

Additional Events

On Wednesday, March 4, at 7:00 p.m., the Highlands Congregational Church will show the documentary Matt Shepard Is a Friend of Mine. This showing is free of charge and is in support of Polymnia's presentation of the oratorio "Considering Matthew Shepard" later this month.

The Melrose Symphony Orchestra will present their "March Masterworks" concert on Saturday, March 7, at 8 p.m.
