Milano Center Seeks Community Members Who Are 60+ to Join West Side Story Day Trip
As one of the center’s many day trips this year, the Melrose Milano Center and members are headed to see a live performance of the West Side Story at the Reagle Theater in Waltham on July 13, 2022. The center is currently looking for a total of eight (8) community members, who are 60+ years or older to fill the last open seats on the bus. The total cost of the trip, which includes transportation, for community members is $49, plus the cost of lunch at The Chateau Restaurant in Waltham. Continue reading to learn more.
Full Itinerary for the July 13, West Side Story Day Trip:
- 10:45 a.m. — Bus departs the Milano Center
- 11:30 a.m. — Lunch at The Chateau Restaurant
- 2:00 p.m. — West Side Story performance begins
- 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. — Bus departs and returns to melrose
To reserve a ticket, community members who are 60+ provide payment to the Milano Center as soon as possible. Checks that are mailed will be time stamped when received and open seats will be reserved. Comunity members who would like to bring along a companion who is 18-years-old or older can do so. Call the Milano Center, located at 201 W Foster St, Melrose, at 781-662-6886 to learn more.
At this time, the Reagle Theater requires proof of vaccinations and booster shots to enter their venue. Physical and/or electronic versions of vaccination status will be accepted. Participants will be asked for their vaccination card before the bus departs the Milano Center. Please note, at this time, Masks are required on the bus.
