Melrose Veterans’ Day Events

The City of Melrose's Veterans' Day Ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Vietnam Reflection Area, located at the Knoll across from Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School. Following a brief ceremony at the Knoll, we will proceed to the Vietnam Memorial on Main Street. After a brief remembrance at the Vietnam Memorial, we will conclude the days’ ceremony at the Honor Roll where we will officially unveil the newly restored memorial.  

In the spirit of service, the Melrose Veterans’ Advisory Board, in partnership with the Melrose Veterans’ Services Office, will be holding a food drive at the Melrose Shaw’s Supermarket on Saturday November 13^th from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Our goal is to fill the shelves with needed items heading into the holiday season.  All donated food and gift cards will be given to the Servant’s Heart Food Pantry and the Pantry of Hope.
