Honorable mentions include Thaea Broberg (Grade 8) and Tate Pasciuto (Pre-K).

“We wanted this contest to encourage participants to think about how they would help a friend feel happy if they were having a bad day while encouraging creativity,” said Emily Hatchouel, Public Health Specialist for the City of Melrose. “The HHS Department thanks everyone who participated and looks forward to our third annual art contest next summer.”

The HHS Department posted the artwork on its Facebook page, @CoMHealth, and Instagram account, @melrosehhs.
