As part of the Melrose Energy Challenge, the City of Melrose invites residents to visit the Melrose Farmer's Market tomorrow, Thursday August 10, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sign up for a no-cost Mass Save home energy assessment or talk to the city’s Heat Pump Coach. HomeWorks Energy will be on hand to schedule assessments and start you on the path to saving money and energy before next winter. They offer expert consults with trained coaches who can assist with getting contractor proposals, side-by-side quote comparisons, and answers to your many questions.

The Melrose Farmer's Market is held at Bowden Park, at the junction of West Emerson and Vinton Streets, adjacent to the Cedar Park MBTA Commuter Rail stop.

About the Melrose Energy Challenge

The City of Melrose re-launched the Melrose Energy Challenge in 2022 to encourage residents to make their homes and buildings more efficient. Melrose aims to increase rates of insulation, air sealing, and heating system upgrades for renters and homeowners, low- and moderate-income households, and small businesses by expanding awareness of and improving access to the incentives. The City originally launched a Melrose Energy Challenge in 2012.
