Mayor Brodeur Invites Community to Ceremony Commemorating Anniversary of September 11

Mayor Paul Brodeur welcomes all members of the Melrose community to join him and community partners for a brief ceremony to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. The ceremony will take place outdoors in front of the Essex Street entrance to City Hall on Monday, September 11 at 9:00 a.m. 

The ceremony will begin with a moment of silence at exactly 9:03 a.m., which is the time that the second plane hit the South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001. After the moment of silence, Mayor Brodeur and local faith leaders with offer brief remarks. 

Melrose City Hall is located at 562 Main Street in Melrose.
