Last Chance for Melrose Housing Production Plan Open House

Click here to participate in the Open House - closes this Sunday!

The City of Melrose and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) have launched a Housing Production Plan process to set the direction for Melrose’s housing over the next 5 years and we need YOUR input. The first opportunity for the public to engage has been through a virtual, self-led open house that was launched on November 18th and closes THIS Sunday, December 13th. This virtual engagement event mimics an in-person public forum, where participants learn about the state of Melrose’s housing today and weigh in on goals for the future of housing. Unlike a typical two-hour in-person forum, this online open house takes between 30 minutes and one hour to complete.

The open house can be taken at your own pace, and can be accessed here: mapc.ma/melrose-hpp-open-house.

You can stay informed about the Housing Production Plan process by visiting the project webpage at mapc.ma/melrose-housing. For additional questions or to get involved, contact John McCartin, Regional Housing and Land Use Planner at MAPC (jmccartin@mapc.org) or Emma Schnur Battaglia, Senior Planner at the City of Melrose (eschnur@cityofmelrose.org).
