Healthy Melrose Wellness and Fitness Fair Will Return on May 6

The Healthy Melrose Committee, in partnership with the City of Melrose, is proud to announce the Annual Healthy Melrose Wellness and Fitness Fair will return to the Fred Green Field on Saturday, May 6, from 10:00 a.m. — 1:30 p.m. The Fred Green Field is part of the Melrose High School Athletic Complex, located at 350 Lynn Fells Parkway.

The Healthy Melrose Wellness and Fitness Fair, which features local vendors, free health and wellness classes, free samples, and more, is intended to create enthusiasm around health and wellness in the community, allowing people of all ages to adopt a healthy and physically active lifestyle.

“We hope to improve the quality of life of those who attend by helping them find ways to make health and fitness a priority,” said Jenine Wright, Chair of the Healthy Melrose Committee. “The event will be an important source of information, presenting many different fitness, wellness, and nutrition options through demonstrations, participatory activities, table displays, and free samples from natural-local-organic food suppliers.”

A full list of vendors will be released to the public as the date of the Healthy Melrose Fair nears, and community members and neighboring communities will soon be able to sign up for fitness activities and mindfulness classes ahead of the event, in addition to during the event.
