Garden Remedies Makes Donations to Friends of Memorial Hall, Follow Your Art

Dr. Karen Munkacy, president and CEO of Garden Remedies, came to City Hall this week to present two checks for $25,000 each to two local organizations: Follow Your Art Community Studios and the Friends of Memorial Hall. The city’s agreement with Garden Remedies, which is a medical marijuana dispensary, requires that it donate $50,000 per year to charities within the City of Melrose. This is above and beyond the payments that Garden Remedies makes directly to the city under the terms of the agreement.
