Film and Discussion on METCO on February 25
The Melrose Human Rights Commission, along with host Melrose Unitarian Universalist Church, invites the whole Melrose community to watch this short 38-minute film entitled “METCO: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow“, and participate in a discussion afterwards regarding the METCO program both historically and today, and in particular, METCO in Melrose.
The presentation and discussion will take place on Monday, February 25th, from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm, at the Melrose Unitarian Universalist Church Sanctuary. This event is free and open to the public – all are welcome and encouraged to attend. A wheelchair accessible ramp is located at the side of the church, adjacent to the parking lot.
The film was created by Natalie Guthrie.
Presenters and Discussion Panelists include Natalie Guthrie (Film Creator), Amy Jackson (Melrose METCO Director), and Amahl Williams (METCO Alum).
