Come to the Four Corners Music Festival August 11!

Flyer for Four Corners concert on August 11

Community building through music and the arts continues to be a defining factor that makes Melrose such a special place to live and visit. This August, Mayor Infurna and the City of Melrose are excited to be hosting the 5th Four Corners Melrose Music Festival on Saturday, August 11th, from 2:30pm-7:30pm. Four Corners is a free, family-friendly outdoor event that will feature TWO STAGES of local musicians from all age groups, highlighted by the Peter Parcek Trio.

Peter Parcek’s daring, incendiary and soulful style is a distinctive hybrid. He weaves rock, gypsy-jazz, country, folk, and blues—especially blues—into a tapestry of melody, harmony, and daredevil solos that push those styles to their limits without sacrificing the warmth of his own personality.

Starting at 2:30pm, bring a blanket, lawn chairs, cooler, and the family for an awesome day of local live music at the Cabbage Patch field, located in front of the middle school at 360 Lynn Fells Parkway. There will be several fun bands as well as individual perfor-mances from talented Melrose residents. Concessions and children’s activities will also be on hand!

This event is a great way to help connect neighborhoods while also further supporting our fine arts community. The Four Corners Melrose Music Festival is sponsored by the City of Melrose and Waste Management.
