City Hall Resuming Normal Hours June 1

City Hall Re-Opening to the Public

MELROSE, MA—After months of an abbreviated schedule, Melrose City Hall will resume normal operating hours as of Tuesday, June 1.

“I am happy to say we have turned a corner in the pandemic and that we are able to open our doors to the public full time,” said Mayor Paul Brodeur.

City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 31 in observance of Memorial Day, and will re-open on Tuesday at 8:30 AM until 4 PM. Face coverings are welcome but not required. Residents may enter and exit through any door in the building and will no longer need to sign in.

The City of Melrose will continue to follow guidelines from the state and the Centers for Disease Control.

Normal operating hours for City Hall are Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
