What's New in Melrose


Closures & More on Presidents' Day

In observance of Presidents' Day, all municipal buildings, including City Hall, will be closed on Monday, February 21. There will be no City of Melrose curbside collection and pickup will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. In addition, the Melrose City Yard will be closed on Februrary 21.
 
In observance of Presidents’ Day the Melrose Public Library will be closed on Sunday, February 20 and Monday, February 21. Digital Services are available 24/7 online.
 
City of Melrose Now Offers Residents an Affordable Way to Purchase Lidded Trash Barrels
 
Melrose Barrel Purchasing Program - an affordable way to buy a compliant barrel.

In response to positive feedback provided by residents, the City of Melrose will move forward with its plan to make a bulk purchase of 35-gallon trash barrels in an effort to provide residents with an affordable way to buy barrels that are compliant with the City’s updated trash receptacle ordinance. Melrose Men to Lead 5th Annual White Ribbon Day
 
City of Melrose and MVAA will have the 5th annual white ribbon day event on March 2 at 1pm outside city hall
 
The Melrose Alliance Against Violence (MAAV) will host the 5th Annual White Ribbon Day Event on March 2 at 1:00p.m. in collaboration with the City of Melrose. The event calls upon men of all ages to stand up and participate in the process of ending violence against women. Click here to learn more!
