For more than 60 years, The Melrose High School Permanent Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors of Melrose High School (MHS). In the last three years, the non-profit organization has awarded in excess of $1,032,000 in scholarships to nearly 700 different graduating MHS seniors.

The Melrose community is invited to show support for MHS students by joining the Fund's Annual Fundraiser, Sips for Scholarships, taking place on Saturday, October 7 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Bellevue Golf Club. The ticket price of $50.00 per person includes beverage tastings and appetizers, and all proceeds will benefit the MHS Permanent Scholarship Fund. Ticket and event information can be found at mhsfund.org.

About the MHS Permanent Scholarship Fund

The mission of the MHS Permanent Scholarship Fund is to raise and administer the funds required to award scholarships to students graduating from Melrose High School. While they work with the school to support the students, they are an independent, voluntary 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and are not directly associated with Melrose High School. The MHS Permanent Scholarship Fund is primarily supported by contributions from the residents and businesses of Melrose. The Fund was created by the Melrose High School PTO in 1960 and awarded its first scholarship in June of 1961.
