For more than 60 years, The Melrose High School Permanent Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors of Melrose High School (MHS). In the last three years, the non-profit organization has awarded in excess of $1,000,000 in scholarships to nearly 700 different graduating MHS seniors.

The Melrose community is invited to show support for the MHS Permanent Scholarship Fund (and Melrose High School students) by joining the Fund's Fourth Annual Fundraiser at Mount Hood taking place on Saturday, November 5 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

About the MHS Permanent Scholarship Fund

The MHS Permanent Scholarship Fund is not directly associated with Melrose High School. Our mission is to raise and administer the funds required to award scholarships to students graduating from Melrose High School. While we work with the school to support the students, we are an independent, voluntary and 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. They are primarily supported by contributions from the citizens and businesses of Melrose. The Fund was created by the Melrose High School PTO in 1960 and awarded its first scholarship in June of 1961.
