‘Artisanal Ladies’ Return to the Beebe Estate on November 3

November at the Beebe Estate Gallery will see the return of The Artisanal Ladies, an eclectic group of creative, inspiring women. The opening reception will be Friday, November 3 from 7:00PM to 9:00 PM and light refreshments will be served. Please plan to join us.

The Beebe Estate Gallery is at 235 West Foster St., Melrose. Additional Gallery hours will be every Saturday in November from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This is a perfect time to see a wide variety of art forms and pick up a unique gift for the holidays or for anytime.

Patricia DiNatale is an accomplished knitter and quilter who draws her inspiration from the sea and Cape Cod. Her themed collection will be featured at this show. A lifelong needle worker, Patricia’s quilts have been shown throughout Massachusetts, she lectures and demonstrates hand quilting to local guilds.

Sandra Erbetta’s creative endeavors evolved from that first pot holder loom of her youth, into the beads and papers of today. She explores color and form in intricate beaded jewelry, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that inspire. The simplicity of her paper objects showcases the beauty of Japanese papers.

Sandra Golbert is an international fiber artist who creates art-to-wear, jewelry, greeting cards, installations and corporate/residential works. She has won many awards and grants from the Endowment for the Arts and the Pollack-Krasner Foundation and her work can be seen in galleries around this country and the Caribbean. Fiberarte.com

Merle Gordon is both an accomplished photographer and quilter who has exhibited her work throughout the North Shore. Her photography reflects her travels and merle especially enjoys photographing flowers, landscapes and animals.

Jeannie King, a retired Melrose teacher and award-winning quilter, has turned her graphic arts background to fabric. She will show appliqued wall hangings, table runners and original designs in baby quilts.

Sat Dhyan Kaur/Sharon is a natural, self-taught artist whose daily practice of Kundalini Yoga awakened her artistic instincts and talents. She creates vibrant pastel chalk drawings which are a medium for healing and elevating the spirit. Inspired by her Soul Collage she is also creating intuitive, healing collage pieces.

Louise Musto-Choate has embarked on a new medium of expression. Traditionally a jewelry designer, Louise is exploring acrylic pours, acrylic paint poured onto canvas, tiles and various 3D items. Her piece, Sedona Swirl, won third place at the recent Danvers Art Association show.

Linda Talanian, a professional artist has exhibited her paintings throughout new England and has received numerous awards for her work in watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media. Ms Talanian’s work ranges from traditional landscape to abstracts of nature, always portraying topics she feels passionate about.

Sylvia Whiting, an award-winning professional photographer, takes pleasure in capturing special occasions, social gatherings; believing every fleeting moment that we experience is unique. She captures historic locations and picturesque sites locally, nationally and internationally.

Rimma Zaiker-Vekslar is a vibrant fiber artist who has created a line of handmade jewelry, clothing and knitwear. Her intricately crafted, entirely handmade, one-of-a-kind garments combine the frolicsome spirit of the BoHo80’s with the opulence of Imperial Russia and the colorful folklorica of the Ukraine.
