2023 Merchant Parking Permit Information

The Merchant Parking Permits are due to expire on June 30, 2023.  These are supplied at no fee with proof of employment in Melrose.

The $600 Floating Merchant stickers will expire on June 30, 2023.

To be issued a Merchant Sticker, you must provide your name, proof of employment in Melrose (ex: pay stub), plate number and mailing address to send the stickers to you.   

  • Businesses can also send in a list on their company stationery with names and plate numbers.
  • For Floating Merchant stickers, please include a check for $600 payable to the City of Melrose and reference the plate number on the memo line.

To acquire either a free or Floating Merchant sticker, please contact the Parking Clerk at ParkingClerk@cityofmelrose.org, visit the Parking Clerk at City Hall or mail your request to:

You may also drop off the information in the gray box located in the alley between City Hall and the Post Office.  The mail is retrieved daily at approximately 8:30 a.m.
