Understanding the Transgender Experience, Tuesday, October 23, at 7 p.m.

All are invited to Understanding the Transgender Experience, a panel discussion, on Tuesday, October 23 from 7-9 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Melrose at 645 Main Street. The discussion will address the question of what it means to be transgender in today's world. Attendees will hear from four members of the transgender community: an elected official, an office worker, a pastor and a mother of a transgender child. This event is sponsored by SpeakOUT Boston, the Melrose Human Rights Commission, the Melrose Clergy Association and the First United Methodist Church of Melrose.
