Salon on South to Present Folk Music Concert on September 28

The Salon on South presents the bloody folk band Bitter Pill for a concert fundraiser on Saturday September 28 supporting the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The event begins at 8:00pm at 22 South Ave, Melrose. Suggested donation is $20 per person. All proceeds will be donated to the SPLC. The Salon on South is a series of fundraising concerts hosted in the home of Melrose residents Steven Jones and David Langer.  The Salon's mission is to raise money for social justice and other worthy causes through community and music. 100% of donations from patrons always goes to the organization chosen for the event. Since its inception in the spring of 2017, The Salon on South has raised over ten thousand dollars for organizations including Let America Vote, RAICES, The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, The American Civil Liberties Union, The Trevor Project, The United Negro College Fund, Planned Parenthood, and more.
