Community Night at the Melrose Americans Game on July 25

The City of Melrose will team up with its hometown team the Melrose Americans of the Intercity League onWednesday, July 25th for family fun at Morelli Field during the Americans game against the Andre Chiefs. The Melrose Recreation Department will be offering free slush, games, face painting, entertainment, music, and more. All kids are encouraged to wear their t-ball / little league / softball shirts. Kids 8 years and older are invited to come on to the field starting at 6:30pm to help shag balls in the outfield during the Americans batting practice. At 7:15pm we invite all kids in their t-ball / little league / softball shirts to join the Americans on the third base line for the singing of the Star-Spangled Banner and the throwing of the first pitch by Mayor Gail Infurna. First pitch will be at 7:30pm with all recreation activities beginning at that time.
