City-Wide Small Household Items Drive to Be Held on Saturday, October 26

The Melrose Rotary Club, First Congregational Church in Melrose, and the Melrose Day Care Center and Preschool are holding a small household items drive to benefit Mission of Deeds.

On Saturday, October 26, 8 am – 1 pm, these organizations invite you bring new or gently used (but clean) items such as: pots and pans, silverware, utensils, bakeware, cookware, small appliances (coffee maker, toaster, microwave), new bed pillows, sheets, comforters, blankets, towels, lamps, clocks, fans, vacuums, irons, ironing boards, and other items. Mission of Deeds is a non-profit volunteer organization that helps set up households for men, women, and children of all ages, including: veterans, disadvantaged families, the previously homeless, survivors of domestic abuse, refugees, he elderly, survivors of fire and other disasters, and those with disabilities.
