The Salon on South Ave presents actress & singer Helen Kemeny next Saturday, June 16th, for a concert fundraiser supporting the International Rescue Committee!  The event begins at 8:00pm. Suggested donation is $20 per person. Wine, cheese, and other light refreshments are provided free to our guests! Actress & singer Helen Kemeny is a recent graduate of Boston Conservatory at Berklee's MFA program. She also holds a BFA in sociology and counseling from Wake Forest University, and is a violinist with 16 years of experience and a love for improvisational violin alongside folk / rock bands.

The Salon on South Ave is a series of fundraising concerts hosted in the home of Melrose residents Steven Jones and David Langer.  The Salon's mission is to raise money for social justice and other worthy causes through community, wine, and music. 100% of donations from patrons always goes to the organization chosen for the event. Since its inception in the spring of 2017, The Salon on South Ave has raised several thousand dollars for organizations including The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, The American Civil Liberties Union, the National Alliance to End Homelessness, and the United Negro College Fund.
