Volunteers Needed for Saturday's Veterans Food Drive

Volunteers are needed to help run the Melrose Veterans’ Advisory Board's  annual Food Drive at the Melrose Shaw’s Supermarket on Saturday, April 29 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. The goal of the drive is to fill local veterans' shelves with needed items. Volunteers are needed to fill the following shifts:

  • 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • 10 a.m, to 12 p.m.
  • 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
  • 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This is a great opportunity for high school students to gain community service hours! The Food Drive is made possible through a partnership with the Melrose Veterans’ Services Office. All donated food and gift cards will be given to the Servant’s Heart Food Pantry and the Pantry of Hope.
